Bruce Knapp

The inspirational musical director of these albums as well as the multiple guitarist -  Bruce was part of the legendary Meigan Fair house band Mazariba - having already busked his way for 3 years from Australia. For the past 25 years he has been part of the Guildhall summer school staff and has taught a very successful popular music college course for 15 years on the south coast.  Bruce spent a few months in Bangkok with a funk band and toured Germany (2 or 3 times a year over six years) with various blues line ups (London Bluesmasters). Having played with the Ukulele orchestra of GB as a dep baritone ukeleleist at various festivals in UK and NZ, Bruce is now dabbling with lap steel guitar and mandolin.

Listen for Bruce's brilliant guitar sounds - on the Sense in our brains title track, on On the move, on Tall windows, and across all this third album, on I Know a Little Place especially on Rollercoaster and If you say you cannot see my shadow and in the atmospheric Cloud on the horizon - on Anguneau sunset especially the subtle baritone guitar on Billion souls, his guitar solos on title track Anguneau sunset, on the bluesy Listenin' to you whistlin', and on Storyteller, storyteller

Wonderful.
